Activities

Children’s activities

Our main Goal is to create a bond between children and horses by approaching farm life on a day-to-day basis and always prioritizing children’s safety. It is crucial for youngsters who are passionate about horse riding to start getting to know these creatures from many perspectives.

All the following activities are supervised by our instructors and/or equestrians.

Horse Care Workshop, where children learn about horse care, feeding and grooming from our experienced handlers and equestrians. It is important to teach them how to approach horses calmly and with respect.

We also organize storytelling gatherings.

Hippotherapy and Riding for the disabled

Hippotherapy is a form of therapeutic intervention that involves the use of horses to help individuals with various physical, occupational, and emotional challenges. Hippotherapy sessions at our center are conducted by trained and certified professionals in a safe environment.

The rhythmic and three-dimensional movement of the horse is believed to provide sensory input and motor challenges that can be beneficial for individuals with a range of conditions, including:

  • Physical disabilities

Hippotherapy can be used to improve muscle strength, balance, coordination, and posture in individuals with conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or muscular dystrophy.

  • Neurological disorders

Individuals with neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis or traumatic brain injuries, may benefit from the sensory stimulation and motor challenges presented by horseback riding.

  • Sensory processing disorders:

Hippotherapy may help individuals with sensory processing issues by providing sensory input through the horse’s movement, helping them better regulate and process sensory information.

  • Speech and language disorders

For individuals with speech and language challenges, the rhythmic motion of the horse may be incorporated into therapeutic activities to improve communication skills.

  • Emotional and behavioral issues

The bond formed between the individual and the horse can contribute to improved confidence, self-esteem, and emotional well-being.
